Calathea roseopicta ‘Green Goddess’, kokedama

Lush, ovate, green leaves with distinctive markings characterise the Calathea roseopicta ‘Green Goddess’. Its beautiful foliage makes it worth collecting! Never place her in direct sunlight or the leaves may fade and lose their striking colours, and she thrives on humidity so make sure you keep her out of a windy spot or air-conditioning. If you are new to Calathea, an interesting fact is that they belong to the Marantaceae or the prayer-plant family. Their leaves face upwards in the evenings as if they are praying. Hence, the name, prayer plant.

This Calathea is grown in a kokedama, a ‘living pot’ of rich, well-draining soil that is then covered in coconut husk. Comes with dish.

Each plant is unique and will differ from image shown.
