Native to India and the eastern Himalayas, Hoya retusa looks nothing like the rest of the Hoya family. It has linear leaves and a trailing habit.
If you only have medium light at home, with not much sun rays streaming in, you can still grow this but it will not bloom. Give it bright, indirect sunlight, or a grow light and it will reward you with daintily, small blooms that have a weak, fragrant scent of light lemon. Potted in a brown, ceramic pot.
Pot and plant: 10cm width by 12cm height.

Sunlight: Partial sunlight or grow light.
Water: 1 to 2 times a week, depending on the light and ventilation. Allow top 2cm of soil to slightly dry in between waterings.
Feed: To keep the plant healthy and encourage flowering, feed twice a month with an all-purpose liquid fertilizer. Orchid fertiliser can be used.
