Known as False cypress or Chamaecyparis ellwoodii, these slow-growing evergreen conifers have soft, feathery foliage, and will bring some Christmas cheer to your table top. These are great as gifts or for yourself, as they will keep growing beyond the season, so you will still have them next year. Keep them at a bright window with some sunlight streaming in, and don’t forget to water them, as they are pretty thirsty trees.

Sunlight: Filtered sunlight, or grow light.
Water: 2-3 times a week. Half submerge the ball in a container of water and let it sit for 1 minute before removing.
Feeding: To keep the plant healthy, feed once a month with an all-purpose liquid fertilizer.
