Pachira aquatica or Money tree, as its often called, is popular because it is associated with financial prosperity. In fengshui practice, the southeast position of your home or office is connected to wealth, so placing a Money tree in this location is supposed to bring you prosperity. Whatever the reason, the Money tree is unique, has beautiful lush foliage, purifies your air, is pet-safe and most importantly, a very easy plant to care for. It is grown here in a kokedama – a ‘living pot’ of rich soil that is encased in a gold-coloured crocheted pouch lined with coconut husk.
