Pleated bird’s nest fern or Asplenium nidus crispy wave, is an epiphyte and its natural habitat is under trees. It is an attractive fuss-free plant that is happy in bright shade. It will not outgrow its kokedama for quite awhile as it has very little roots. This fern is grown in a kokedama, a ‘living pot’ of rich soil that is encased in a crocheted pouch lined with coconut husk.
Each plant is unique and will differ from image shown.
Water: Twice a week. Half submerge the ball in a container of water and let it sit for 1-2 minutes before removing. Mist leaves alternate days if the air is dry.
