Ficus ‘Ginseng’ Moss Ball

$58.00

Ficus ‘Ginseng’ or Ficus microcarpa is a relatively easy indoor bonsai to start with if you’re new to keeping miniature trees. It is characterised by its thick roots system that resemble tree trunks. Here, it is grown in a kokedama (moss ball), a ‘living pot’ of rich soil that is then covered in live moss. To keep the moss green, it should be misted daily, placed in a non-windy location that is bright, but not hit by direct sun. A grow light is a great option for consistency, if your home is not too bright.

Available for backorder with a 7-to-10 day delivery.

Height: 26-30cm
Kokedama diameter size: 10-12cm

Each plant is unique and will differ from image shown.

Sunlight: Bright shade, filtered sunlight or artificial light. A grow light would work great for a low light space indoors.

Water: Mist the entire moss surface daily. Fully submerge the moss ball in a container of water for 1 minute once a week before removing and placing on the dish.

Feeding: A general purpose fertilizer once a month will keep it in optimal condition.
