Sunlight: Filtered sunlight or artificial light.
Water: 2 to 3 times a week. Half submerge the ball in a container of water and let it sit for 1 minute before removing.
Fertiliser: Use an organic liquid fertiliser monthly.

Dwarf maple bonsai, also known as Acer palmatum, makes a great addition to any bonsai collection. The multiple red and orange hue of the leaves are just gorgeous. Morning sun is great for the plant but the afternoon sun can scorch the leaves, so choosing a location with filtered sunlight is best. Being a mini tree, it does drink quite a bit so do water regularly but do not drown it either.
