With its beautiful antler-like fronds, P. bifurcatum or staghorn fern makes for an impressive house plant. It is not difficult to keep, and once you get the hang of it, you’ll catch the staghorn bug and will want to collect the other species. We have chosen young staghorn ferns to grow in kokedama where their shield fronds will eventually grow over the sphagnum moss giving you a stunning green wrapped ball with antler foliage growing out of it. The important thing to note is not to try to remove any brown shield fronds as they help to anchor the plant and protect its root ball.

Availability: In stock
Sunlight: Bright indirect sunlight or artificial light.
Water: 2 times a week. Half submerge the ball in a container of water and let it sit for 1 minute before removing.
Feeding: To keep the plant healthy, feed once a month with an all-purpose liquid fertilizer.
